And also this year the “Kind of Blue” is coming. From 23rd to 28th August in the Medici Fortress of Siena, headquarters of the Siena Jazz – National Academy of Jazz, a seminar will be held whose importance is by now consolidated.
A very good opportunity to begin to familiarize yourself with the language of improvised music and to meet new musicians.
Until now, the Kind of Blue has given many young people the opportunity to get in touch with aspects of music that are often “snubbed” but which appear regularly in the career of every musician.
A unique experience to clarify ideas, to deepen the knowledge and creative aspects of this music, to perfect one’s instrumental technique, a way to improve one’s global musical preparation and make progress in the style and techniques of improvisation, a way to use time to not waste time.
In this seminar, as always, I will follow the bass players and an ensemble music combo.
